Knowing the brand names in use and comparing two components playing at different volumes, as in virtualy all sighted comparisons, can only reduce the accuracy of the answer to the all-important question: Is the sound quality really different?

Claims of "I know what I hear" are just meaningless bragging.

Please describe why hiding the brand names and comparing components playing at the same volumes is a bad methodology ... while the opposite is a good methodology.

I won't be holding my breath waiting for an intelligent answer to that question.

With the (M) next to your name, I assume the answer to my question is linked directly to your paycheck, which could be a source of bias.
