"blind testing is always an advantage"

"I'm an old electronics guy and was blown away to discover about 15 years ago that interconnects affected my system’s sound quality"

RG
Is this conclusion based on blind tests or just an "I know what I hear conclusion".

If based on blind tests (hopefully more than one since single-blind interconnect tests are so easy to do), then the results may apply to other audiophiles.

If based on "I know what I hear", the results may only apply to people with similar attitudes, beliefs and expectations, and even then, only when they know what interconnects are in use.

Your posts suggest you are a "I know what I hear" and all interconnects sound different guy.

I want to suggest that no one else in the world has ever demonstrated the ability to hear interconnect differences to witnesses, and their results suggest anyone can imagine some or all of the differences "heard".

Even you.

If this suggestion angers you, then consider the fact that you are claiming "I know what I hear and could not be wrong". That would be claiming a level of perfection so far unknown among humans.
