Dithering is necessary. Dithering is required. Nobody's saying anything else. Dithering is a required, necessary part of the process.And, there is no difference between interchannel phase differences and anything else, so no, there is no problem with interchannel phase differences, beyond the extent of single-channel phase differences.
With very little effort, y'all can show this yourself with some drawing on paper.
