Re: No reason why you should believe me John

Jim - Why someone would continue to attack the chip as a fraud and attack me personally as a fraud and charlatan without any more merit to his arguments than he doesn't understand how such a thing can possibly work is beyond me. It is a perfect example of why so-called "unexplainable" devices and tweaks draw so much heat from the audio establishment and from naysayers.

My position, to make it more clear, has always been to promote products that, regardless of perceived mystery surrounding their operation, provide benefit to the audiophile seeking to improve his sound. Ironically, the same sort of tiresome arguments against the chip by the naysayers have been applied, in the past, with equal fervor to my Nimbus isolation platform, one of the very few such devices to provide sub-Hertz performance (in 6 directions of motion). Fortunately we progress, and by now vibration isolation is perceived by many as a necessary to obtain audio nirvana. But eight years ago such was not the case.

Now that you bring up the fraud charge yet once again, what is quite peculiar, in the context of all of your continuing harrange, is that you actually have the chip in your possession and have not, as far as we know, taken the time to audition it. Only tried measuring its magnetism or some other silly thing. It's as if you cannot let go of your obvious bias against something you can't fathom, for whatever reasons, and refuse to give the chip a fair shake. Seems to me your attacks are more a case of blind superstition than knowledge based. All this talk of "dark matter," shame on you. You have become nothing more than a nattering nabob of negativism.

Geoff
