Technical and scientific discussion of amps, cables and other topics.

Does this sound like hypothesizing?

"The Intelligent Chip works via coherent quantum superposition and quantum entanglement, in which two coherent light sources - the CD laser and the quantum dot laser in the chip - interact strongly with the atoms and molecules in the CD's polycarbonate layer to produce long-lasting, superior transparency and better optical signal to noise ratio (SNR). Laser light escapes the player via a number of small holes and gaps in the player case. The emitted light from the quantum dot laser instantly comingles with the CD laser light in the room and inside the player."

No John, it does not. And it's entitled "The Definitive Explanation". Does not sound very hypothical to me.

And he bases his explanation on lots of false assumptions, a physicist like you should be aware of that.

And he bases his explanation on the presence of q-dots on the chip: how does he know, how do you know, did you have the chip examined?

So what's left to done? Follow Allan's advice, carry the chip to a decent lab and have it examined. Why would you refuse to do that, any particular reason that we might not be aware of?

Once you are sure that there's q-material present you can start hypothesizing, but please without violating rules and laws of physics.
