Franssen illusion

The ears are also easily fooled, the Franssen effect is just one example.

The Franssen effect is an illusion that causes human listeners to make large errors in localizing a sound source. If you want to know more, mail me off-board and I'll send you the JASA`paper as pdf file.

And what is more people like John Dunlavy have run fake tests on visitors, and they heard a difference whilst they were listening to the same component or cable, but were told that they were listening to a different component or cable.

I believe that the chip contains no more than a piece of metal foil, simply because there's no evidence for anything else. And a piece of metal foil just doesn't anything at all to a CD.

With sighted listening tests only you cannot be sure that there's no placebo effect. Gimme a properly conducted DBT or gimme undeniable evidence. Until then I will call the chip a scam.
