Technical and scientific discussion of amps, cables and other topics.

Keep an open mind, John, you might learn something.

"Do we REALLY know what the chip is? NO! Is it for real? Seems so."

Then why do you think it is safe to use?

If it effects permanent physical changes in compact discs through CD player cases, then why should it not do similar things to human tissue?

If you believe it works but don't know how it works, or upon what species within the CD it works, then you cannot claim it is safe to use anywhere near human beings.

The consequences of permanent changes in human tissue include sterility, birth defects, and cancer. Is it really worth giving leukemia to little kids to get a slight improvement in sound of compact discs? The risk of this is unquantifiable as long as no one knows how it works.

The risk of this is zero if the chip is pure humbug, which is what I believe.

So what is your opinion: humbug or possible carcinogen?
