I'm a twiiiker, yes a twiiiker I am!

I've reduced the number of components, and consequently the number of connections, to a minimum: the best cable is no cable, the best connection is no connection: so when I connect the CD-transport directly via SP/DIF to my speakers, where the signal is re-clocked and then fed to top-notch signal processing, what better twiiik can you imagine? Only one interface, SOTA conversion between digital and analog, responses as flat as it gets, where's there room for twiiiks?

The speakers do allow for one more twiiik though, which is to increase the resolution of the digital filters. That would result in the responses being even flatter than they already are, so that might be an option. I don't know if such is the intention of the manufacturer though.

Turntable can be connected the same way, directly to the speakers, top-notch ADC and so forth (see above).

Yeah, I had been recommended these speakers by people who do know what they are talking about, and I don't know of any other speakers that outperform them, regardless of price.

You now might say that the digital interconnect can be twiiiked, I would like to see a good technical reason for that.

Isn't every audiofool a tool of audio experts aka audio reviewers? Who else is constantly telling them that what they own can easily be bettered? Why are they constantly beating the upgrade path, were it not for what they're told by glossy (and non-glossy) audio rags?
