Even if I did have the chip examined...

would you believe in the findings? If the lab, any lab, found out that the chip contains a simple piece of metall alloy, perfectly incapable of changing anything in a CD, or anything at all, anywhere, would you still believe in what you're hearing?

To start with, I would not know a lab which could do that over here. Geoff and John have numerous connections to industry, or so it would appear, so they are in a better position to get it done.

Secondly, I consider it to be the task of the chip's proponents to provide evidence. The manufacturer of a device has the responsibility that the device is up to its specs! Maybe that Geoff&Co. could request that JSMR provides the necessary evidence. Will they do that, I have my doubts. Will they provide evidence themselves, it does not look like.
