I am referring to something really obvious...

For one example, I started a thread below entitled "GSIC observation and query". It was a pertinent and timely question regarding a phenomenon that is of interest to me personally. The only truly germane discussion on the matter came from Dave Clark, 2 or 3 postings out of 100 plus. Obviously there is going to be a lot of discussion that is not relevant on many threads here at the Asylum, I am sure we are all guilty of this behavior at some level. I consider Part Time Punk's initial response to the "GSIC observation and query" thread to be thread hijacking. I will let your read it for yourself and judge. To his credit he seemed more restrained later.
