If they can enjoy CD that is fine. Music is supposed to be a pleasurable experience and CD is NOT enjoyable for me! Some people do not find LPs enjoyable as they cannot listen around surface noise. Some people do not find old recordings enjoyable as they cannot listen around tape hiss. I can listen around surface noise, I can listen around tape hiss, but what low resolution digital does to strings and trumpets is something I cannot listen around as it hurts too much! What I am trying to say if you can't enjoy a recording, why listen to it?Teresa
