I'm not the only person who has reached that conclusion. Millions of people (OK, hundreds of thousands), including audio critics and music critics, have been enjoying CD sound for years. As with any format, the equipment you use bears heavily on how good it sounds. If I complain that my LPs sound terrible, people will tell me my analog front end isn't good enough. If my SACDs sound terrible, my player isn't good enough. Same with CDs. You're 100% correct.
