Now I am confused. I thought what you didn't like about Kleiber was his tendency to go for fire and excitement at the expense of subtlety. I would think that approach least suitable for the 4th. I am curious to hear what Kleiber does with the 4th, but I don't like the 4th in the hands of Karajan, whose approach to the 5th and 7th is similar to Kleiber. For the 4th I like the way of Jochum and Walter.
