and I actually own your preferred 4ths. Jochum is very nice and weightier, Walter is very lyrical and beautiful in line.Interesting commentary and thread throughout on this "warhorse." I have been stimulated to go on in my own survey of the ones I own by your post.
I tend to like the fast, brusque approach to the Fifth, yet with adequate weight. The Bohm/VPO that Todd K favors is really nicely lyrical and expressive through the 2nd movement (as far as I got), but it's just too slow.
