but you left out many versions, incl. Szell Cleveland studio, Szell Concertgebouw studio, Szell VPO live, yes Dohnanyi Clev., E. Kleiber Concertgebouw, Harnoncourt Chamber Orch. of Europe, Schmidt- Isserstedt VPO, Bernstein NY and VPO, Scherchen VStOO, etc. I have reviewed these myself, never finished the project.For slower ones, Klemperer Philharmonia mono and stereo versions, Walter NY and Columbia come to mind. Klemp's are better than the latter Walter, but I acquired an LP of Walter rehearsing the Columbia, 1st and 2nd movement. Wow! Much more vigorous than the ultimate studio release.
Also, the DVD One Man's Triumph shows wonderful excerpts from Dr. Szell rehearsing Brahms Academic Festival Ov, and Beethoven 5th as well as other footage.
