Opening Up Your Own Wounds.....

You toss out the buzzword "dither".... You happen to be correct that it improves low-level signal linearity in digital playback. But can you explain how dither actually works, in your own words?? (No Googling!!)

As far as a retraction, you need to demonstrate that you can actually explain the science, instead of just claiming that you know it and then telling people to "do their homework." You spend too much time talking a good game, but hardly ever perform. You spend too much time complaining about people spreading myths and misinformation, and not enough time explaining the nuts and bolts of audio.
