You may very well know much more about the real science behind audio DBTs than I do. My own impression is that in the public domain there is very little "scholarship" to tell us how effective the standard DBTs we read about are at accurately emulating the casual at-home experience where many of us are convinced we are hearing differences (even significant differences at times, in my experience), absent only the sighted clues that are almost always present in the home environoment.Since we're talking about effective writing, I hope that last sentence make sense.
