""Most students who have not studied advanced calculus and come to a field theory for the first time, enter a world that is strange not only in geometrical and physical ideas, but also in language. Small misunderstandings at this stage can lead to serious misconceptions later, some so well hidden that they are hard for either the student or teacher to uncover."" Vladimir Rojansky, pg viii. (Electromagnetic Fields and Waves, 1979), Dover press.NY.It is those misunderstandings I am attempting to correct..First, the basics must be understood..
JC..this book seems like a reasonable one for you to read, cover to cover..page 105 on covers vector fields, and shows the internal component of the magnetic field, the one I explained to you...apparantly to no avail...so I try again...one of these days, you 'll understand...I'm patient..
Cheers, John
