Here's the deal. Cable Asylum is supposedly intended for people to simply share their subjective experiences with cables without regard to physics or other objective issues. It was intended that Propeller Head Plaza and Tech Square be used when physics or other objectives issues were to be discussed.
I think those intentions are just fine and ideally, would make everyone happy. Those who simply want to share subjective experiences have Cable Asylum, and those who want to bring up objective issues have Prop Heads and Tech Square.
However the implementation has been half-assed and hypocritical. Jon still routinely invokes physics and other objective issues on Cable Asylum when evangelizing his opinions and points of view, while using Prop Heads as a dumping ground when it comes to other points of view with regard to physics and other objective issues.
