HowdyThis is a more appropriate venue for discussing the objective side of cables, not in a small part because it does allow discussions of DBT'ing.
It's statements like "There is no need to break in cables. Similar question: wich[sic] is the best way to break in my dvd-cover?" which aren't welcome in the cables forum, people go to the cables forum to get constructive feedback not derision. (BTW that quote isn't a very objective opinion on cables anyway.)
People can come here if they want to talk or learn about the physics, etc. of cables. They can go to the cable asylum if they want to talk or learn about people's experience with cables.
