for a moment just how deluded you truly are...I have never proposed anarchy in any form, I have simply expressed the simple fact that individual preferences are different, and one should not take your opinion as gospel. In one case, someone asked if they should use your pet Belden cable, or 30 guage silver. I said "try both and see which YOU prefer"...I never advised to try "everything", yet you continue to mis-characterize my advice as such. If you think that telling someone to make up their own mind is lousy advice, you are really a sick individual with major problems. Get help.
Your little black and white world where there is either your truth or anarchy is a miserable place. You seem to think that it is perfectly fine for you to "offer advice based on experience", but when someone else does the same, you insult, browbeat, and challenge. My postings are consistant with the view that people's preferences are not identical, and everyone should experiment to find out what they personally believe to be best for themselves. You seem to believe that there is an absolute "best" that should suit everyone. When will you open your eyes and realize that there is no universally accepted "best sounding" anything?
It is ok for you to advise people to use teflon. It should be ok for others to advise people to try other dielectics as well so that they can decide for themselves what THEY prefer. Why is that so difficult for you to grasp? And what I prefer, well, again, unlike those with a guru complex, it doesn't really matter as I wouldn't begin to presume that what I prefer is best for everyone.
You seem to be the one confused. I never said you have deleted my posts. I did say that you have seen fit to jump in with argumentative rhetoric everytime I have advised someone to try things for themselves. Additionally, you consistantly mis-characterize and criticize my opinion as "anarchy", when it is anything but.
If you were just another self-obsessed cable guru, your dogma could be stepped over, but you are also the moderator, and you are supposed to be promoting an environment free of attacks on personal opinions and argumentative rhetoric, and yet you yourself make the CA a less than enjoyable place with your closeminded, heavy handed, argumentative antics. Your double standard stinks, and in plain English, as a moderator, you suck.
