Technical and scientific discussion of amps, cables and other topics.

At age 19, he was already a brilliant mathematician and he looked into the consequences of current physical theory with startling results. As with lots of things Clark says, his remarks tend to be misleading. Here, one must look further in the to the history to find that despite Eddington's oppositon, other physicists supported Chandra and still continued to look into the question of black holes . Chandra was born in 1910, made his discovery about mass limits of white dwarfs at age 19, based on current physical theory. Eddington didn't like the results, but he still advanced successfully in his studies. Chandra, presented a paper at the Royal Astronomical Society in 1935, where it was criticized by Eddington, who admitted his calculations were correct. But other emininent physicists supported Chandra and black holes. By 1939, Einstein himself was trying to disprove black holes--so what's this nonsense about no discussion? We should note that the Second World War intervened and diverted energies to other projects.

Anyway, scientists are fallible human beings, too. But the fact a theory is criticized does not mean that a theory is true. They still have to be supported by evidence.

What have you got to argue your theory is coherent, let alone plausible?
