Cheap-Jack, you really should give up as you seem incapable of understanding what I am writing. First I didn't say you were an Objectivist I said " acting like" Soundmind who is an Objectivist. That's a BIG difference.I agree I posted Dieters entire interview. The reason I did that was so people couldn't say I was taking what I liked and not looking at the whole picture.
From the very beginning I wanted this to be a discussion about "these sounds" and musicality and what discovering how to measure them could mean to audio. Who know better than me what my intentions were?
But you and others got hung up on C37 & wooded knobs. I repeatedly said I also was skeptical, but would keep an open-mind and need to listen BEFORE I decide outright one way or another.
How do you know what I'm able to screen out between what is something techinically conceivable & what is a sales pitch? Just because I can see the possibility that C37 MIGHT somehow dampen and reduce vibrations in something other than wood and you can't doesn't mean I swallow the sales pitch with it.
If you notice I didn't by any wooden knobs or C37, my actions speak for themself. You need to give up if you cannot understand plain, non-technical english.... geeesh.
