Re: I don't dispute C37 may work with a violin, but

Cheap-Jack, like you I believe applying C37 onto a rigid substrate, like a CD player housing, or something else non-woooden & expecting the same results is something that needs to be viewed with skepticism, but also with an open-mind. Afterall it's possible it could work.

Seems most people are concentrating on Dieters C37 and his attempt to sell it. However, the idea I was trying to get others here to discuss was "these sounds" Dieter refered to. I believe "these sounds" are what we commonly refered to as "musical."

Furthermore I believe it's quite possible that if scientists and/or audio designers could develop a test that measures "these sounds" we MIGHT have for the first time a test that actually correlates what's been measured with what's been heard and THAT would be a wonderful thing indeed.
