I preface my post with this: From people I respect and trust, I have been told that John Curl has produced excellent product. (Hi Phil) That said..

JC has a history of accepting as fact many things which are entirely unsupported. To that end, many here can't be bothered questioning or badgering him when he either supports or refutes anything. They simply ignore him.

Go through the archives (as Dan asked), key words skin effect, fermi velocity, near superconducting..

He bolsters an inaccurately written article on skin effect, even though the technically "inaccurate" portions have been clearly shown incorrect. (when pushed, he cannot discuss the topic on his own.)

He incorrectly discusses quantum theory vs classical electron drift. (when pushed, he cannot discuss the topic on his own)

He talks of "near superconductors" as stated by others (friends). (I have experience with supers of the most advanced types, in magnets of the most advanced types, and can easily quash that garbage.) (Again, he cannot discuss the topic on his own, obviously a trend).

Clearly, he considers the source of such writings when embracing them, without regard to their technical accuracy.

Historically, I would certainly not feel it necessary to badger him over any technical paper..

I would ask him questions related to his proven abilities, however..again, based on the opinion of others with respect to his designs.
