....people constantly say that their speaker has broken in so that it doesn't have the problems I point out. So I go listen. The problem sure still is there, but they've tuned it out. Or they bought a cable or amp or CDP that "fixes" it. It didn't. Still there. Same issues. I see it so often that, sure, I'm taking that leap that this is more of the same. You can't fix a 6dB dip between two drivers with cables, amps, CD players. But you *can* fix it with your mind. Doesn't much matter to me, as long as he's happy. But maybe, just maybe, the difference between a Wilson fan and a non-Wilson fan is the ability to "wrap your head around" their sound and bend to their flavor. I say this because so many people seem to dislike their sound. Maybe their brains take longer to break in that some. That's a whole lot more likely than one brand of speaker taking longer to break in than another!
