"Most loudspeakers and their drivers require little or no break-in to achieve their level of long-term performance. Indeed, 10 minutes of break-in time using music containing a wide range of tones, especially in the low bass region of the audio spectrum should be quite satisfactory. ... Some woofers with a relatively stiff suspension may require more break-in time than others. Tweeters and mids seldom (if ever) exhibit any measureable or audible change in properties with use, despite contrary claims by the "golden ear" set."
