Re: I'm a professional speaker designer, and break-in is real

After a speaker is broken in, do you ever take it apart and compare it to one that hasn't been to determine what the physical differences are? Is it the drivers themselves? The cabinet? The stuffing settling? It might be nice to know. Do you take any out of service after several thousands or tens of thousands of hours of use to see what further changes they undergo?
