Let's get something straight here Mr. Audio Bigot. I designed amps because most of them, if not nearly all of them were far more noisy than what is really required for reproducing digital audio. The second issue that you conviently ignored is that Dr Geddes deals with horn loudspeakers. They are rather efficent and require very little from the electronics; so if one is not concerned with noise than just about any amp will do. Your response once again tells me you know nothing about applications, and nor do you care to even bother to care since it does not fit your narrow, bigoted agenda.
