The linearity he talks about are just not in the numbers of the final design. The real point here is that you are selectively quoting what you don't fully comprehend, as is shown by the folowing quote.
"Of course when you build bog standard textbook circuits with 30+ db of negative feedback then you will get a more or less standard sound (ie. not very good). You are probably right that then the device doesn't matter very much but that is your flaw from the beginning, relying on negative feedback to cure inherently grossly non-linear circuits."

This shows near total ignorance of how negative feedback is to be applied becasue the open loop "characteristics" will define how much negative feedback can be applied for a specific application. Not only that you are implying that I have said the above which is an outright lie.
If you can't get your facts straight, which you generally don't, then I see no further point in continuing this thread. Then again, not having your facts straight is just part and parcel for consumer audio and you just fit right in.
