Morricab,I thought it best to dig up Earl Geddes reply to you from Dec '95, read his final paragraph carefully, he made the same point that Dan Banquer made here to you, i.e. audio bigotry in more polite terms, but the point is essentially the same.

It is one of the reasons why discussing most audio issues with you is a fruitless and generally unrewarding exercise. Your ever reading willingness to stay consistent to invalid points in the fact of valid contrary evidence is perplexing. On the current issue, read Jim LeSurf article in Hifi News (February 2007?), he drives an another nail into some of myths surrounding amplifier distortion cherished by many audiophiles of which I number you, but will it register with you, based on past evidence, I am not holding my breath.
