The question is how your ASRC is implemented. While interpolation in the time domain results in low-pass filtering (ie. in the frequency domain), low cutoff frequencies can result in very good jitter attenuation, which obviously the Benchmark has.

I don't think Stereophile's jitter tests (Miller Audio) are prone to the theoretical shortfalls mentioned in the Lavry paper.
