Problem with SRC is that I can usually hear it - it seems to slightly "flatten" the sound. I think most people like it because the additional filtering makes the sound seem "smoother" but at the expense of losing PRAT.I would like to see a really good ASRC and digital filter implementation - lots of taps, and operating in IEEE double precision :-) Presumably the hardware for doing this is around the corner :-)
