I respect your right to your opinion, but without any objective proof (which you are not obliged in any way to provide), it remains an opinion.

I agree some do, but it is not reasonable for consumers to have to measure these attributes for themselves. Most consumers do not have the expertise or equipment, and the measurements would be limited to cables they have purchased or borrowed. This defeats the purpose of using the information as part of pre-sales evaluation.
