Errr . . . when someone participates in a blind test, whose ears to they trust?

You're not making any sense.

Yep! That's the justification for blind tests, that appearance and reputation, and simply the sensory bias for perceiving differences, won't be able to affect the statistics.

As I've pointed out, those who participate in blind testing are trusting their own ears and only their own ears to be able to differentiate the sound.

This "would do" illogic--you in fact do not know what we "would do." It is also quite false, as controlled DBT results could be quite convincing.

In your last sentence, you seem to distinguish "hearing" from "perception." What do you mean by those terms?
