Technical and scientific discussion of amps, cables and other topics.

The main point is:

Somebody heard three different sounding discs that were supposed to sound the same, but they did not.

There are 10 or so BETTER explanations than storage location to explain this phenomenon, and NO evidence to support storage location in the first place!

Yes, they were stored in different places - but what hand did the person load each disc with? Was one disc touched by more than one person? Were the discs opened at different times of day or all at the same time? Was it cloudy when the experiment was done? We could ask ANY NUMBER of ludicrous and completely irrelevant questions - and say that was the cause of the alleged sonic differences (and they REMAIN to be alleged)!

If you try and start your car but it won't start, so you give up and go for lunch and it starts when you come back, does this mean you should eat something every time your car breaks down?

I guess you guys would! Because after all, the car DID start after you had lunch! If someone needs proof that this does not work, then its up to THEM to go and get it! Right?

Cheers,

Presto
