Re: What a total blind test ! (long)

While I could agree that the floor in the listening room may have an influence on the final sound (reflections, absorption, resonance) I have problems to understand how three different floors were able to leave a lasting impression on three CDs, which CDs were then shipped across the country to another person, which person then told me that I have a wooden floor because the CD sounds misty and clumsy (or whatever), my collegues have carpeted and tiled floors because of ....... (fill in the appropriate descriptive terms).

Make the test yourself, make copies of one of your CDs, store them in different rooms, listen to find out whether or not they sound different.
