Sorry, you still miss the main point.

I already reiterate what the magazine guy commented: he could tell the sonic difference of the 3CDs, but he could NOT tell what floors on which the CDs were stored.

Isn't it the end of these going-on-&-on debate? But you still carry on to challenge his sonic findings. The storage flooring issue was already out of the picture as he failed the test. So, why you still want to go on with the storage location issue?

IMO, there is technical explanation on his different sonic findings on the 3 CDs as you already rightly suggested in your post below.

This could be the result of using blank CD (R or RW) of different brands & shipment patches (different patches of plastic compounds used & different CD moulding processes). Even if these CDs were taken from the same make & same batch (I hope), how could you be so sure the computer writer wrote the music IDENTICALLY on the 3 CDs??????

All these can result different sound given good ears & audio plauback gears of high resolution.

So why all these speculations on something so obvious?
