My credentials?

Credentials:

Gradute (1994), Electrical Engineering Technology

Currently: Certified Engineernig Technologist (CET)

But nobody needs credentials to claim a test is INVALID - so long as their statement is backed up. If you read my posts again, you will see that I have CLEARLY identified where these tests are flawed and therefore invalid. I based my claims on the description of the test as provided.

So do you believe this test as described was done in adherence to any known scientific principles or methods? Or is it just another one of those "you can't deny that buddy heard it" claims? Sure, and I also cannot refute the claim that people talk to the dead or have seen the Virgin Mary. But with audibility there ARE tests that can be done - they are just usually avoided by those who don't want to look bad when the REAL numbers come up. Folks claiming to be able to hear outlandish sonic differences are very often SHOWN to have 50% (or there abouts) accuracy when some SIMPLE and FAIR conditions are met in a controlled environment. Why should I have to argue with you about this if you're an engineer?

Maybe this guy is your friend and if he said he had a system for winning the lottery you'd buy into that too. Who knows.

Oh, and I hope to God they are arts students conducting these tests, for if they are ENGINEERS doing this, they should be stripped of their degrees and credentials for attempting to pass off such ludicrous tests as "proof" of anything.

Again, this entire thread belongs in "tweaks" - where the "believers" can yammer on ad-infinitum about how they "feel" about this "incredibly new and free tweak".

Maybe they can write a poem about it too while they're at it.

Cheers,

Presto
