For players and standalone devices, what you are saying makes sense. I don't have the expertise to comment on power issues inside a player as it relates to load, MLP, etc.. I know quite a bit about computers, but not electronics. I do know that processors will use more power under load, and that will have an affect on the power supply (and in the case of a CPU, RFI as well).

Got a smile from the DBT comment, thanks. As you might know, I do believe an informal BT can be of value. I have owned more than a few DACs, and they do not sound the same at all!

After a number of years in this hobby, I have learned EVERYTHING affects the sound to some degree. Makes the hobby interesting and frustrating at the same time.
