This here isn't like THD, which is 'mostly useless' according to people I know and trust.This here is simple, the digital data remains the same (unless the coder is broken, of course). The timing issues and the like y'all bring up are evidence of malfunction of something if they exist, because the bits IS the bits as long as it's for digital storage.
I'm not sayin', now, that there isn't some timing problem, only that if there is, it's a flat-out mistake, error, screwup, whatever.
