1. I'm presently re-capping my 15 year old transistor amps. Electrolytic caps have about a 15 year life span, where as no one knows how long transistors last.
The units are still meeting their original spec's.
2. Tubes: They're great for Microwave Ovens.
3 It appears the rest of the world is smart enought to ignore the lie that tubes are superior for audio applications over solid state.
