Celeste W4250se and W5. Both were very good but not really much of a match overall to the two amps I use now (summer and winter amps :)). I now use a hybrid amp (model Project 14MkIII) from a Dutch Company called Sphinx but it is from the mid 1990s when they were owned by Siltech and made hybrid products (they later made SS products that were also pretty good but lacked that something special in their earilier designs). It is a three stage amp, two tube stages and a MOSFET output. It has no negative feedback and is class A the first 20 watts or so. It is not the best amp in the world but pretty darn good and shown many a more expensive amp the door. My winter amps are a pair of OTL monoblocks, the Silvaweld OTL tube references that use 4 x 6C33C-B tubes per amp. They put out around 100 watts and get hot as hell so winter only. If I were to consider new SS amps today I would look seriously at the latest BAT SS amps and the Ayre amps, as well as the latest Pass creations.
