What people like doesn't count, it's how well a machine performs a fucntion, that's all that counts. That may not correlate with sales and profits but that is not an issue here either. SET amplfiers perform miserably. So do most other tube amplifiers. The only exceptions are the OTL amplifiers when they are very well executed.
"Now ask the question what measurements might correlate with what those listeners enjoy. Not what you enjoy."
