Well, he did show he knew something about test methodology and he did come up with techniques and a formula to assess the audibility of distortion. Others have developed formulas, too.Still, for some time, the standard for level matching has been within 0.1 dB.
And really, even I can tell he has not done anything to show that distortion in SS amps is more audible--and I gave you an example of one in which it does not seem to be.
