I think you really believe that what little research there is using DBT gives us all we need to know in audio. This is the church I refer to. It is a gospel unjustified by scientific findings. You seem to think that your claims to authority allow you to say what I say is dogma or nonsense and that yours is not. I reject such claims. Basically, I firmly believe that DBT may give us some idea as to how the human senses perform, but no guidance into what humans can hear or prefer to hear. You and others of your ilk deny the fundamental basis of such adherence to supposed inability of people to hear information out of audible range despite research using your beloved methodology. You also fail to see the tie between accepting the notion that DBTs frequency, almost always, yield no differences and the usefulness of this conclusion to concluding that many more expensive amps, cables, etc. are just fraud or hype.
The rejection of DBTs by nearly all audiophiles is no suggestion that you are professionally incompetent, you are not that central to the issue.
As I said and have failed to live up to, there is no further benefit from my posting on this asylum. Nothing will ever be resolved here, there is no discussion of further DBTesting or technical aspects of anything.
