Yes, more refined. VW nice quality interior too, not stripped down cheap like Sub/Mitsu. ;-)I was making my comparison of the MV60 (unfairly) because I assume that it sounds similar to the Premier 11a that I once owned. The AES/Cary SixPacs were significantly better than the Premier 11a. The MV60 is EL34 unlike the SE so maybe a pair of the 'regular' MV60's will be heaven too!
My Classe amps were not bad but I found others to be better both in solid-state and tubes. I had the older CA100/200/300 series, not the 301.
