Just to give you another perspective, I had the Classe CA300 and preferred the CJ Premier 11a but that didn't make me immediately conclude that tube amps are 'better'. It just so happens the Classe amp wasn't all that great in the first place. If you go back to tubes and never try solid-state again, I think you're doing yourself a disfavor. There are outstanding solid-state amps as there are outstanding tube amps. In fact, there are much better tube amps (for less money) than the CJ MV60 or 60SE, in my opinion -- including the AES/Cary SixPac monoblocks. keep an open mind to solid-state AND tubes and broaden your appreciation of each.
