I enjoyed my Thiel 1.6 system for many many years. The only reason I went with a bigger Thiel is a new larger listenining room and a desire to play large scale symphonies. Otherwise I could have been very happy with my old system. (I must admit to a little upgrade itch as well)I'm hoping to get there and stay I really am ! But at the moment the Audiophile upgrade dragon in me has awoken, wreaking havoc everywhere I go. I've torn down my wood stove in the start of the cold season (bad reflections), I've moved my listening room ten times, reflection removing devices are everywhere, my wife is in absolute horror. ( normally I'm a sweet little audiophile)...Hopefully, soon, my inner dragon will sleep again and I'll just enjoy my music again.
