My little tube amp falls flat on its face with louder and more dynamic music compared to the big classe. The SS is much faster and crystal clear and the bass is very tight and solid. Althought the CJ amp cannot follow this act with the bass and dynamics, it fails very nicely and is enjoyable to listen to. Other then bass and higher volumes, the tube amp sound much more natural with just about everything. It's night and day and I suspect many would have different opinions as to which sounds better. For me it's no contest.I am sure that very few would recommend this combo because it breaks common audio rules. (55 tube watts for a speaker at 86 db and a 4ohm load that dips lower...) I think it's a good idea to break the rules from time to time just to see the results. I'm blown away.
